A Mammy of two small wild women, a tea drinker, talker of plenty, people watcher, daydreamer, and sleepwalker.
I am the photographer for those people who think they don't want a photographer. You know, those awkward ones who don't want to be in the photos, but deep down don't want to miss out on making memories either?
I promise you there will be no posing or staging, no matching clothes or fake smiles. What I do really well is see the beauty in ordinary moments, those moments that make up your everyday.
The only thing you need to do when I arrive is to be yourself (and stick the kettle on!)

Have you ever thought about it? Things you did last year with your kids... Do you do those things now? Carry them on your hip? Spoon feeds? Help them get dressed? Shout "Get down out of there" 500 times a day? ( I still do that!)
If you were asked for the most recent photo of you and your family together, how far back would you need to go?
When we were kids I remember my Mam used to say she wished there was a magic "Stay small forever" pill she could give my brother "Baby James" to keep him small and cute. Me and my older sister and brother used to laugh at her and tell her she was so strange. That pill hasn't been invented yet, "Baby James" is now 32, lives in Perth 14,995 km from home and my Mam has photographs dotted all over our home place of that baby's cute face!
And now,
As a mother.
I get it.
She wasn't strange.
She knew time flies, life changes and she wanted to slow it down.
I don't have a magic "Stay small forever pill", but I do have my camera and a passion to show you how sometimes the most ordinary family moments can be extraordinary. The tears and tantrums, muddy feet, sticky fingers and everything in between. We can freeze those moments together. Your busy house, my passion for seeing the beauty in the ordinary.
So let's do it! It doesn't matter if it's not the perfect time.
Because remember... Where there is perfection there is no story to tell!
You won't regret it.

"Oonagh called to our house one Saturday morning for our long awaited family pics! (Cheers for the delay Covid!) We already had an idea that the gameplan for the session was chilled out, unplanned....which suited us down to the ground as a very busy household with kids and animals. We were still in the pjs and the kettle was on, because that's what it's all about, capturing a day in the life of us. There was no pressure and the atmosphere was so relaxed. We barely noticed Oonagh doing her thing!"

"So grateful to Oonagh for coming to my favourite place in the world - Granny's garden- and capturing what we do on a daily basis. Chat all things plants and veg, drink tea and laugh uncontrollably and these are the perfect photos to represent just how much I love and adore my granny, and it shows how much we really are just best friends.
I can’t thank you enough Oonagh, these are memories I’ll cherish for a lifetime."
